Curriculum Policy Proposal Webinar

This month, UCL published a Curriculum Policy Proposal in partnership with Global Action Plan, the National Association for Environmental Education and the Council for Subject Associations.  The proposal calls for recognition, in the revised national curriculum for England, that the climate and nature crisis requires a whole curriculum response. It also provides exemplar aims statements for a wide range of subjects. Click here to access the proposal directly.

Global Action Plan is hosting a webinar about the proposal. The event will be co-chaired by two of the proposal’s authors Alison Kitson (UCL) and Morgan Phillips (Global Action Plan), with introductory contributions from fellow co-author, Justin Dillon (NAEE UK), and Liz Moorse (Council for Subject Associations). A panel discussion will feature teachers and teacher educators who will reflect on the proposal and the solutions to the question of how curriculum subjects can contribute to climate change and nature education that it offers.

Audience members will have the opportunity to pose written questions to the authors and panel throughout, and the event will close with a dedicated Q&A session.
