This inaugural event is a joint collaboration between Education Above All Foundation, Mission 4.7, and the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, designed to build upon the global dialogue and momentum created by the UN Transforming Education Summit in September 2022. The lecture series will be a space to explore the foundational, ethical, theoretical, and philosophical underpinnings of what Transformative Education entails with education ministers, world organization leaders, think tanks, academics, practitioners, and youth to set the agenda for Transformative Education leading up to COP 28.
This year's session will focus on what is required of foundational learning in the 21st Century for a Transformative Education, redefining what it means in the age of a climate crisis and how we can provide quality education in inclusive ways.
