Education Futures Forum

  • United Nations Headquarters 405 East 45th Street New York, NY, 10017 United States (map)

The Education Futures Forum will convene global leaders, policymakers, educators, and innovators to explore how we can transform education systems, bridge the skills gap, and create inclusive learning economies aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

In an era of rapid technological disruption and decline in education investments, the event will showcase pioneering organizations and institutions driving real-world solutions to equip learners with the skills needed to thrive in the future economy. Through expert lightning talks, solution spotlights, and an interactive forum, participants will identify bold, scalable strategies to ensure that education remains a foundation for economic mobility, innovation, and resilience for the future to arrive well for all.

The event is structured around three key themes.

  1. Education Transformation. How do we redesign education systems to meet the
    demands of the 21st century?

  2. The Skills & Learning Economy. What skills are essential for the jobs of tomorrow,
and how do we scale lifelong learning?

  3. Achieving UN SDG4. What innovative models are making education equitable, accessible,
    and future-ready for all?

The event will highlight organizations and institutions actively driving solutions in these areas
and foster cross-sector collaboration to accelerate progress.
