  • Paris, IDF France (map)

This webinar, co-developed with the Global Education Time (GET) project, offers a comparative overview of how Global Citizenship Education (GCE) is currently reflected in policies across eight European countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Spain).

It draws on research carried out within the Global Education Time (GET) project, and examines key opportunities and challenges in implementing GCE strategies and related public policies, highlighting both common trends and country-specific dynamics. The Global Education Network Europe (GENE), together with the Academic Network on Global Education & Learning (ANGEL), is launching a new webinar programme designed to strengthen the connection between research and policy in global education.

At a time when our shared values are increasingly under threat, this series creates space to share and build knowledge that supports policy and practice and helps amplify the transformative power of Global Education through collective action.

The Research to Policy Webinar Series focuses on key issues identified by policymakers through GENE’s policy learning processes — offering insights, evidence, and dialogue grounded in real policy needs.
