The Global Higher Education Symposium (GHES) is expected to be held on the sidelines of the 2026 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) under the theme Transformative, equitable, innovative and coordinated actions for the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs, for a sustainable future for all. Higher education is a central actor in achieving the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and will play a vital role in envisioning a potential post-2030 framework.
