Designed in collaboration with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, this three day experience will bring together students, teachers and leaders from national and international systems of education with policymakers, leaders in business, industry, Indigenous learning and reconciliation, and climate experts.
Together, through engaging with the summit theme, “The Sustainability Algorithm: Disrupting Education for a Flourishing Planet,” we will confront the systems failures that have led us to the current climate emergency, critically reflect on education’s role and responsibility in shaping a better, more peaceful and more sustainable future and challenge ourselves and each other to become catalysts for sustainable, equitable change in and beyond the Asia Pacific region.
Following Otto Scharmer’s Theory U, participants will engage in a series of immersive dialogues, deep reflection, and collaborative inquiry to explore what it means to reimagine education for a flourishing planet.
