The Forum convenes government officials, civil society actors, formal and non-formal educators, youth, and business leaders to explore how Global Citizenship Education (GCED/SDG 4.7) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD/SDG 4.7) can serve as critical levers for peacebuilding and global solidarity in times of growing global challenges.

  • explore the education and peace nexus, examining how GCED and ESD can respond to growing fragmentation, polarization, and declining trust, while strengthening social cohesion and dialogue across diverse contexts,

  • identify promising practices and opportunities for collaboration, showcasing initiatives, and connecting key stakeholders working across sectors, regions, and generations to advance education, peace, and sustainable development,

  • strengthen partnerships for GCED and ESD across sectors, regions, and generations, contributing to more effective and coordinated action towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7
