The governments of Italy and Nigeria, co-hosts of the GPE "Multiply Possibility" campaign, and GPE will convene a high-level event on September 23, at the UN General Assembly in New York.
The event will mark a pivotal moment in the global effort to ensure a quality education for children around the world, and lay the foundations for a more stable and prosperous future.
It will convene heads of state, ministers, and leaders from international organizations, development banks, civil society, philanthropy and the private sector to secure the investments and commitments needed to improve education for 750 million children around the world.
Ahead of the high-level event, on Monday, September 21, GPE will convene partners in New York City.
Morning: Innovative partnerships to transform education systems: will spotlight the pivotal role of philanthropy and the private sector in innovative approaches to education system transformation.
Afternoon: Unlocking the future of education together: a partnership-wide event bringing together all GPE partners to celebrate progress, showcase commitments and partnerships, and build momentum for continued action on education financing.
