Education House will host its first 2026 convening at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026, taking place from 3–6 PM on Tuesday, January 20, at Hotel Schatzalp in Davos, Switzerland.

Under the theme “Redesigning Education to Equip Students to Shape a Better Future,” the session will explore how education systems must evolve to meet the demands of an increasingly complex and interconnected world and prepare young people to think critically, collaborate across divides, and lead with empathy and purpose

“Humanity faces increasingly existential challenges — from growing polarization and emergent AI to violent conflicts and environmental degradation.¨ says Wendy Kopp, Co-Founder and CEO of Teach For All. “We need education that develops all students as creative, critically thinking, collaborative leaders of a better future for themselves and all of us, and we need to pursue this together.¨

At the Davos Edition of Education House, we’ll ask three interconnected questions

  • How can we equip students to shape a better future?

  • How can business contribute to preparing a generation of collaborative, creative, and purpose-driven young people?

  • How can we accelerate this transformation in education systems, particularly in places most in need, to foster inclusive and sustainable growth?

The gathering will convene 50+ leaders across business, government, and education to co-create actionable partnerships and strategies that bridge the gap between learning and the needs of the modern economy. The aim is to ensure that education is recognised as a vital enabler of societal progress — not an isolated sector, but a shared responsibility across industries and nations.

“At the Davos Edition of Education House we want to inspire practical partnerships that close the gap between learning and the demands of today’s economy,” says Lasse Leponiemi, Chairman of the HundrED Foundation. “For that, we need to both fundamentally rethink how we educate young people and see education as fundamental to achieving our shared sustainable development agenda."

Education House is a collaborative hub co-founded by HundrED, Teach For All, and Salzburg Global, dedicated to positioning education as a central driver of sustainable development through dialogue, co-creation, and collective action.
