Now in its 5th edition, the TeachersCOP has become a global meeting point for educators committed to tackling climate change through education. Every year, hundreds of teachers from around the world submit their classroom projects, real, creative examples of how students can understand and act on climate issues. These initiatives show that climate education is not only about knowledge, but about empowerment, collaboration, and leadership.
Hosted by the Office for Climate Education (OCE), VVOB – education for development, and Nova Escola, the TeachersCOP brings together teachers from all continents for a day of inspiration and exchange. During this global celebration, selected teachers will present their projects live, showcasing innovative approaches that help students become active citizens for the planet.
