The UNESCO Prize for Global Citizenship Education (GCED) provides an exceptional global platform to promote the visibility and recognition of projects and initiatives in the field of GCED from around the world. The inaugural cycle of the Prize saw over 150 submissions from 70 countries and UNESCO is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the Award Ceremony to showcase and award the two 2025 laureates and their initiatives.

The event will be webcast. The link to follow the event live will be available soon.
The ceremony will conclude with a celebratory cocktail reception.
