APCEIU and UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), in partnership with the GCED Youth Network, are co-hosting the 12th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED under the theme “Translating Peace into Action: Leveraging Media and the Arts." The workshop seeks to empower young leaders around the world to drive meaningful change in their communities by critically and meaningfully engaging with the world and exploring how youth can contribute to advancing peace through creative and impactful advocacy.
The Workshop invites 40-50 youth leaders from across the globe. This includes participants from developing countries and representatives of marginalized communities, all chosen from thousands of applicants. The curriculum encompasses Global Citizenship Education (GCED), youth advocacy, and leadership training, alongside presentations of innovative projects by young leaders. The program is further enriched by interactive activities, and opportunities for mentorship and grant to further develop the youth’s initiatives.
