The governments of Italy and Nigeria, together with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), will convene the Multiply Possibility - Global Education Summit 2026 on June 9, 2026 in Rome, Italy.
The summit will mark a pivotal moment in the global effort to ensure a quality education for children around the world, and lay the foundations for a more stable and prosperous future.
The Multiply Possibility – Global Education Summit 2026 will convene heads of state, ministers, and leaders from international organizations, civil society, philanthropy and the private sector to secure the investments and commitments needed to improve education for 750 million children around the world.
The event represents a major milestone in GPE’s Multiply Possibility campaign, which aims to mobilize $5 billion for GPE and billions more in domestic financing commitments from more than 90 countries. This core investment will catalyze an additional $10 billion in cofinancing by 2030, expanding opportunity, strengthening skills, and supporting shared prosperity for a generation of children and youth.
These investments will have a transformative impact:
$840 billion added to the global economy,
23 million people lifted out of poverty,
$7.7 billion saved in climate-related damage,
204 million more children in school, half of them girls,
105 million children learning better.
