This practical workshop explores how academic institutions can collaborate with government and industry to build the sustainability skills needed for a just, green and inclusive transition. As demand for green jobs and climate-literate leadership grows, higher education must rapidly adapt to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and values to thrive in a changing world. Speakers will address:  

  • Embedding sustainability competencies across disciplines, from STEM to social sciences and humanities  

  • Designing curricula with industry and government to ensure that graduates have the skills required for emerging job markets  

  • Collaborating with industry to provide practical, real-world context

  • How to build multi-stakeholder partnerships that drive national and regional sustainability agendas through education.
